With my academic
background in biology and several years working in the pharmaceutical
industry, it was a natural progression for me to look at how
our minds and bodies are connected and how this can impact
on our health, emotions and behaviour. My fascination with
hypnotherapy started while I was at university in Liverpool
- I was treated with hypnosis and it changed my life.
Since leaving university in 1996 I have undertaken
studies with the Northern School of Hypnotherapy, the London
College of Clinical Hypnosis and the University of Greenwich,
I am now a member of the Northern Institute of Professional
Clinical Hypnotherapists, The British Society of Clinical
Hypnosis and an associate member of the Complementary and
Alternative Medicine Researcher Network.
My busy hypnotherapy practice is based on
the Calderdale/ Kirklees border where both private and NHS
patients are seen. Many patients are seen in the comfort of
their own homes.
