I discovered Health Kinesiology after being
dramatically taken out of work in an ambulance, on oxygen
and wired to a heart monitor suffering a suspected heart
attack. It turned out to be a severe reaction to some Gluten
I had inadvertently eaten at lunch. Gluten is a substance
found in some grains, primarily wheat. This took me by surprise
as I had been following a strict gluten-free diet for four
years since being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease and had
not experienced such a reaction before.
A friend had been seeing a Health Kinesiologist
to good effect and as she was so worried about me, urged
me to go along. I didn't know what to expect but was pleased
that the treatment was non- intrusive, in no way stressful
and looked at different aspects of the problem. I felt much
better after two sessions and decided to study the first
module as it covered allergies, which has given me control
over the reaction to Gluten.
I was so impressed that I gave up my full
time job as a senior manager to complete the training course.
Leading a team and working long hours in finance, personnel
and administration had given me first hand experience of
the impact that stress and the ups and downs of life can
have on people and their health.
I particularly like
the way Health Kinesiology looks at the problem from all
angles – facet analysis - working
on the relevant areas until the body's energy is balanced.
Often, as with stress, emotional and psychological problems
can lead to physical symptoms, so it's important to address
all the areas that are causing the problem.
During my client sessions I have been amazed
at the results I have seen. The client's body will work at
it's own pace, choosing the most relevant corrections. In
some cases only a few sessions are needed, but for others
more are needed to see results. During the first session
we can identify how many sessions may be required to see
a significant improvement, but usually there are improvements
after each session.
I work from home during school hours and terms,
ensuring a relaxing session tailored to the client.
